How Zeli treats personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains how Zeli collects, uses, stores, and shares information when people use the Zeli rides and delivery platform, including customer accounts, driver accounts, courier tools, merchant tools, dispatch tools, and related websites or mobile experiences.

Zeli is designed for transportation and delivery operations in Bonaire, Caribbean Netherlands. Because the service depends on live booking, dispatch, payments, safety, and delivery coordination, some personal information is necessary for the platform to work properly.

Information we collect

The data needed to operate rides and delivery.

Account and contact details

Name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, password credentials, customer profile details, and communication preferences.

Location information

Pickup and drop-off locations, delivery addresses, saved addresses, map pins, route information, and live driver or courier location when needed to complete trips or orders.

Ride and order records

Trip requests, assigned driver or courier, merchant details, cart items, delivery instructions, order status, timing, fares, fees, tips, cancellations, reviews, and support notes.

Driver and merchant information

Application details, vehicle information, documents, wallet and payout records, delivery availability, merchant profile details, menu information, and operational settings.

Payment and billing information

Transaction references, fare amounts, platform fees, delivery fees, tips, commission records, subscription status, payout records, and payment processor confirmations. Zeli does not intentionally store full card numbers.

Device and technical information

Browser or device type, app session information, IP address, approximate device identifiers, diagnostics, logs, and security events.

How we use information

Why the platform needs this data.

Zeli uses information to create accounts, process bookings, calculate routes and fares, assign drivers or couriers, show live tracking, process payments, support customers, manage driver earnings, operate delivery orders, improve dispatch, prevent abuse, and maintain platform security.

Location information is used to show pickup and drop-off points, guide drivers and couriers, help dispatchers assign jobs, estimate arrival times, and improve map results. For couriers or drivers, location may be collected while they are on duty so customers and dispatch can follow active jobs.

Who may receive information.

Drivers and couriers

Receive the pickup, drop-off, delivery, customer contact, route, and job details needed to complete an accepted ride or order.

Restaurants and merchants

Receive order details, customer instructions, and operational information required to prepare and hand off delivery orders.

Dispatch and support

Can access trip, order, account, driver, courier, merchant, and payment records when needed to operate or support the service.

Service providers

May process information for hosting, authentication, email, payments, maps, analytics, security, storage, and communications under their own service terms.

Retention and rights

Storage, access, correction, and deletion.

Zeli keeps information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, comply with operational and legal obligations, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, maintain accounting records, and improve platform reliability.

Users may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information where applicable. Some information may need to be retained when required for accounting, safety, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or legal compliance.

Security

Protecting the platform.

Zeli uses technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect user information. No digital service can guarantee absolute security, but Zeli works to limit access, protect credentials, and monitor operational systems for reliability and misuse.

Users are responsible for keeping account passwords secure and for contacting Zeli promptly if they believe their account has been accessed without permission.
