- Zeli charges $6.00 plus $0.75 per kilometre to deliver, with a $1.50 platform fee. Orders under $20.00 add a $2.00 small-order fee. The total is shown in full before you pay, there is no surge pricing, and nothing is added afterwards. Ordering from a shop near you costs less than ordering from the other side of the island.
- Why does delivery cost what it does?
- The fee covers two things: paying the courier who brings your order, and running the platform that finds them, prices the trip and tracks it to your door. Zeli couriers are independent contractors, not salaried staff. They use their own vehicle, their own fuel and their own time, and they are paid for each delivery they complete. A delivery paying two or three dollars does not cover that, and no courier would take the job — which is why a service priced that way tends to have nobody available when you order. Charging by distance rather than one flat rate is the same principle: a short run costs you less, and a long one pays the courier properly for the extra kilometres. Every part of it is on screen before you pay.
- Can I pay cash for a delivery?
- Yes. Card in the app or cash to the courier, whichever suits. Prices are in US dollars, the currency of the Caribbean Netherlands.

- Yes. Supermarket baskets and parapharmacy items go through the same order and the same courier as restaurant food. Prescription medicines, alcohol and tobacco are not carried.
