Questions people ask
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Nothing you need to do. Zeli tracks your flight number, and while no driver has been assigned yet your pickup moves with it automatically — a two-hour delay simply becomes a pickup two hours later. If the flight is cancelled the booking is flagged and we contact you about a refund.
Where does my driver meet me at Flamingo Airport?
Right at the customs exit. Once you clear customs and walk out, your driver is standing in that arrivals area holding a board with your name on it — you do not need to go outside or look for a car. Flamingo is small enough that they will be the first thing you see.
How long after landing will the driver be there?
Your driver is dispatched 15 minutes before the plane touches down, so they are already on the way while you are taxiing. The pickup is set for 20 minutes after landing, which is enough for immigration and bags at an airport this size.
Do I need to pay the driver anything?
No. Airport transfers are paid by card when you book, so nothing changes hands on the island and there is no cash to find before you have been to a machine.
Is there a shuttle bus or public transport from Bonaire airport?
There is no scheduled airport shuttle or public bus service at Flamingo Airport. A taxi or a pre-booked transfer is how visitors reach their accommodation, which is why booking before you fly is worth doing.
