HOW IT WORKS
Download once. Explore anywhere.
Four steps, and only the first one needs wifi.
01
Install it on wifi
At the hotel, on the ship, at the airport. The whole island comes with the app — roads, beaches, dive sites, places to eat.
02
Switch data off
Roaming off, mobile data off. Your dot still shows, because GPS comes from satellites, not from the phone network.
03
Tap a place
A beach, a dive site, a trail, lunch, a cash machine. Each one says what it is and how long it takes to drive or walk there.
04
Follow the line
Turn-by-turn directions, spoken aloud, with the screen kept on. Worked out on the phone, so a dead zone changes nothing.

Bonaire dive site map
Every dive site, one tap away.
Bonaire marks its shore-dive entries with yellow painted stones along the coast road. The map has 91 named dive and snorkel sites along the west coast and around Klein Bonaire — filter to them in one tap, then drive or walk to the one you choose.

Turn by turn, no signal needed.
Routes are worked out on your phone, on Bonaire’s own road map, so they keep coming where coverage gives out, like the far north of Washington Slagbaai National Park. The next turn is spoken aloud, and the screen stays awake while you drive.

Plan my day
Your whole day, planned in a minute.
Say when you start, when you need to be back and what you love. It picks the stops, finds lunch on the way, checks opening hours and sunset, and draws the day on the map — saved on the phone, so it is still there with no signal.

In port for the day?
Back on board, with time to spare.
Choose North Pier or South Pier, set your all-aboard time, and the map counts down — telling you when to start back from wherever you are on the island.
Every place says what it is in a sentence or two — the beach with the staircase, the lake with the flamingos. Then drive, walk, or book a Zeli taxi straight from the card when you would rather not drive.

THE MAP OF BONAIRE
The island, place by place.
Every dot below is a place in the app. Updated October 19, 2026.
Yes. Bonaire Map by Zeli is a free app with the whole island inside it: roads, 270 places including 91 dive sites and 24 beaches, search, and turn-by-turn directions. Once it is installed it needs no mobile data or wifi.
Does the map work without mobile data or roaming?
Yes. Your position comes from the phone’s GPS, which listens to satellites rather than the phone network, and routes are worked out on the phone itself. You can leave mobile data and roaming switched off all day.
Is Bonaire Map free?
Yes. It is free to download and use, with no ads and no account to create.
Does it show Bonaire’s dive sites?
Yes — 91 named shore-dive and snorkel sites along the west coast and around Klein Bonaire, each pinned on the map. Tap Dive spots to see only those, then get driving or walking directions to the one you choose.
Is it useful if I am in Bonaire on a cruise?
It was built for exactly that. Choose North Pier or South Pier, set your all-aboard time, and the map counts down and tells you when to start heading back from wherever you are. Plan my day builds a timed day that ends at the ship.
How do I install the Android app?
Tap Download for Android on this page and open the file when it finishes. Bonaire Map is not on Google Play yet, so the first time Android asks you to allow installs from your browser. Allow it, tap Install, and the map is on your home screen.
When will Bonaire Map be on the iPhone App Store?
The iPhone app is in App Store review now. Until it is live, the same map works in Safari at zeli-bonaire.com/today/map — tap Save for offline once and it keeps working with no signal.
Can I book a taxi from the map?
Yes. Every place has a Book a taxi button that opens Zeli, Bonaire’s ride app, with the destination filled in. Booking needs a connection; the map itself does not.
Does the app track my location?
No. Your location is used on the phone — to draw your dot and route you — and never leaves it. There is no account and no advertising.
Where does the map data come from?
Roads and coastline come from OpenStreetMap. Places were checked and added by hand on the island by the Zeli team. Last updated October 19, 2026.
